Ferrari Purosangue gets optional 'Handling Speciale' package
Ferrari Purosangue gets a new optional Handling Speciale package, enhancing performance, driving dynamics, and styling with suspension tweaks, sharper shifts, and exclusive design elements.

Ferrari has introduced an optional ‘Handling Speciale’ package for the Purosangue, aimed at amplifying the SUV’s sporting character without compromising its everyday usability. Available on request, this configuration brings a series of mechanical recalibrations alongside subtle but distinctive design enhancements.
At its core, the Purosangue continues with its naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12, producing 725bhp and 716Nm, paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. However, the Handling Speciale package revises shift strategies to deliver quicker and more decisive gear changes, particularly in Manettino ‘Race’ and ESC-Off modes. Ferrari claims that shifts become noticeably sharper above 5,500rpm, especially when using the paddle shifters, enhancing driver engagement during spirited driving.
The package also includes a recalibrated active suspension system, reducing body movements by 10 percent. This results in improved composure and a more direct response to steering inputs, especially during rapid direction changes and cornering sequences. Additionally, Ferrari has tuned the in-cabin acoustics to make the V12 more pronounced, particularly at start-up and under hard acceleration.
Visually, the Handling Speciale configuration sets itself apart with a range of exclusive elements. These include newly designed 22-inch front and 23-inch rear alloy wheels with a diamond-cut finish, carbon-fibre side skirts, matte-black exhaust tips, and an all-black Prancing Horse emblem at the rear. Satin-finished Ferrari lettering and black-and-white fender badges further distinguish this variant. Inside, a dedicated plaque between the rear seats and ‘Handling Speciale’ badging on the door sills underline its exclusivity.
Despite these upgrades, the Purosangue retains its core layout, a front-mid-mounted V12 with a rear-mounted gearbox in a transaxle configuration along with its four-door, four-seater practicality. Performance figures remain unchanged, with a claimed 0-100kmph time of 3.3 seconds and a top speed exceeding 310kmph.
Ferrari will also continue to offer its seven-year Genuine Maintenance programme with this configuration, covering scheduled servicing at regular intervals and ensuring long-term performance and reliability.
With the introduction of the Handling Speciale package, Ferrari further sharpens the dynamic edge of the Purosangue while maintaining its dual identity as a high-performance machine and a versatile luxury four-seater.
