Kia Seltos gets new GTX(O), X-Line(O) variants with ADAS and premium features
Kia India has introduced the new Seltos GTX(O) and X-Line(O) variants, adding an expanded ADAS suite, premium convenience features and automatic powertrain options to strengthen its midsize SUV lineup.

Kia India has expanded the Seltos range with the introduction of the new GTX(O) and X-Line(O) variants, bringing a more comprehensive safety package and additional premium features to its flagship midsize SUV. The new variants are priced from Rs 21.56 lakh (ex-showroom) and are available with both turbo-petrol and diesel automatic powertrains.
The biggest upgrade on the new variants is Kia's enhanced ADAS F+ suite, which now offers 28 advanced driver assistance features, up from the previous 21 available on the GTX(A) and X-Line(A) trims. New additions include Front Collision-Avoidance Assist with Junction Crossing, Lane Change Oncoming and Lane Change Side functions, Evasive Steering Assist, Navigation-Based Smart Cruise Control for curves and speed-restricted zones, and Highway Driving Assist.
Beyond safety, Kia has also loaded the GTX(O) and X-Line(O) with several new convenience features. These include the Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC), a Head-Up Display with windshield projection, a Smart Air Purifier with AQI display, a Smart Dashcam with front and rear cameras, rain-sensing wipers, Digital Key functionality, and one-touch auto up/down operation for all four power windows. The SUV also supports Kia Connect 2.0 with more than 85 connected car functions and voice-enabled controls across select Indian regional languages.
Mechanically, the new variants continue with the existing engine options. Buyers can choose between the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, producing 160 hp and paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, or the 1.5-litre diesel engine that develops 116 hp and comes mated to a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
Like the rest of the Seltos lineup, the GTX(O) and X-Line(O) are underpinned by Kia's K3 platform, which the company says contributes to improved crash protection, structural rigidity and overall driving refinement. The additions also build on the Seltos' recently achieved 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating, making it one of the highest-rated internal combustion SUVs tested under the Indian crash assessment programme.
Commenting on the launch, Atul Sood, Senior Vice-President, Marketing & Sales, Kia India, said the Seltos has continued to evolve with changing customer expectations while maintaining its position as one of the brand's strongest products in the country. He added that the new GTX(O) and X-Line(O) variants further strengthen the SUV's value proposition by combining advanced safety technologies with premium convenience and connected features.
The X-Line(O) continues to distinguish itself from the GTX(O) with exclusive styling elements, including the Matte Graphite exterior finish, blacked-out exterior accents, black 18-inch alloy wheels, and a black-and-green themed cabin.
Kia says the Seltos has consistently registered monthly sales of over 10,000 units since the arrival of the updated model, and the addition of the GTX(O) and X-Line(O) is aimed at reinforcing its position in the highly competitive midsize SUV segment.
