Nissan India posts 129% domestic sales growth in June 2026, total wholesales rise 16%

Nissan Motor India reported 129 per cent year-on-year (YoY) jump in domestic wholesales to 3,006 units in June, 2026. The Japanese automaker also registered a 16 per cent increase in total wholesales, with combined domestic and export dispatches reaching 8,346 units during the month.

The June performance marks Nissan India's fourth consecutive month of YoY domestic sales growth, reflecting improving demand and the company's expanding presence in the Indian market.

Exports remained a key pillar of Nissan India's operations, with the company shipping 5,340 units to international markets during the month, reinforcing India's role as an important manufacturing and export hub for the automaker.

Commenting on the performance, Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd., said the company's four straight months of domestic sales growth reflect increasing customer confidence in its product portfolio and the steady execution of its market strategy.

He credited the continued support of dealer partners and field teams for strengthening Nissan's presence across the country. Vatsa added that sustained demand for the New Nissan Magnite and the all-new Nissan Gravite, coupled with an expanding customer base and dealership network, has positioned the company well ahead of the global premiere of the Nissan Tekton on July 9, 2026.

According to Nissan, customer interest across its India portfolio remained strong during June, supported by the market response to the recently introduced all-new Nissan Gravite. The New Nissan Magnite also continued to be a key volume driver, helping maintain customer engagement across major markets.

Looking ahead, Nissan is preparing to unveil the Nissan Tekton at its world premiere on July 9, 2026, a launch the company describes as another milestone in its India growth strategy. The new model is expected to further strengthen Nissan's product portfolio as the automaker seeks to build on its recent sales momentum.

The company said it will continue focusing on sustaining domestic growth, expanding its dealership network and enhancing the overall customer experience across key markets.
