Addressing her mother in the note, she wrote, “If I die, don’t let them go unpunished, Amma. I made a mistake. Please forgive me.”

Shwetha alleged that her husband and his elder sister were responsible for driving her to take the extreme step as they had been subjecting her to continuous harassment despite her not knowing what she had done wrong.

In the note, she appealed that they should not be spared if she died, expressed regret over her decision, and said she no longer had the will to live.

"I no longer have the will to live. Please forgive me. Please don’t blame me," she added.
