Papa, I am going: Woman dies by suicide, blames in-laws for harassment in last video
In a three-minute video recorded before her suicide, she accused her in-laws of harassment, denied their allegations against her, and urged her parents to take care of her young daughter.

A 24-year-old woman died by suicide at her matrimonial home in Delhi's Nangloi area after recording a video in which she accused her in-laws of harassment, appealed to her parents to care for her young daughter and alleged that she could no longer live with her husband, police said on Wednesday.
The woman, identified as Tina, was found hanging from a ceiling fan at her in-laws' residence in outer Delhi on Tuesday afternoon.
The investigators found a video, over three minutes long, on her mobile phone in which she spoke about her alleged ordeal and addressed her parents, husband and other family members.
In the recording, Tina repeatedly urged her parents to look after her one-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Mona, and said she did not want the child to be handed over to anyone else.
"Please take care of Mona. Don't give Mona to anyone. She is your granddaughter. Please keep Mona with you," she is heard telling her father. She then repeats the same to her mother, not to hand the child over "to anyone, not even to my husband".
Addressing other members of her family, Tina requested them to treat her daughter as their own and raise her after her death. She apologised to her parents for the pain she believed she had caused them and repeatedly urged her mother not to fight with anyone because of her death.
In the video, Tina alleged that her husband's family had subjected her to ill-treatment and claimed they had never accepted her.
"The mistake was mine. I got married. Their family is not good. If they could not stand by their own son, how would they ever stand by me or my child?" she said.
She also denied allegations that she had assaulted her in-laws or practised black magic.
"I never hit my mother-in-law. I never hit my brother-in-law. I never hit anyone. I was the one who was beaten," she said, adding, "I never performed any black magic or witchcraft. All I ever wanted was to have a happy, small family."
Expressing despair over her future, Tina said she no longer believed that was possible and blamed her circumstances. She also described her husband as "mad" and said she could no longer continue living with him.
"I cannot live with this mad man anymore," she says towards the end of the recording.
According to police, Tina had been married for around two-and-a-half years and was living with her husband, who works in the private sector, in Nangloi. The couple has a one-and-a-half-year-old daughter.
Police said statements of family members have been recorded before the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), as required in cases involving the death of a married woman under suspicious circumstances.
Based on the statements recorded before the SDM, a case has been registered and further investigation is underway. Police reached the spot after receiving information about the incident and took the body into custody before sending it for a post-mortem examination.
Investigators are examining the video, questioning family members and collecting other evidence to verify the allegations made by the deceased and determine the circumstances leading to her death. Police said further legal action will be taken based on the outcome of the investigation.
