According to the complaint, the woman had ended her relationship with Yadav and stopped communicating with him due to his behaviour. She alleged that on May 31, Yadav arrived at Jalvayu Vihar society in Gurugram between 5 am and 6 am in an allegedly intoxicated state.

When her mother refused to let him enter the house, Yadav allegedly attempted to force his way inside. Police said the complainant accused him of abusing family members and threatening to kill and rape her mother and 15-year-old sister.

The woman further alleged that when she returned to the society, Yadav intercepted and assaulted her in public.

In her complaint, she claimed that he grabbed her by the hair and repeatedly slapped her in full public view.

She also alleged that Yadav had assaulted her in a similar manner in September 2025. Although she had approached the police at the time, she later withdrew the complaint after he allegedly threatened to leak a private video of her.
