Girl, 11, kidnapped from Delhi footpath, raped and murdered in Gurugram forest
Police traced and arrested the accused after scanning hundreds of CCTV cameras, and said he confessed to the horrific crime during interrogation.

In a horrific incident, an 11-year-old girl was kidnapped from a footpath in South Delhi's Mehrauli area, after which she was raped and murdered in a Gurugram forest.
The police received a PCR call at around 5 am on Monday, informing them about the girl’s abduction. Following the complaint, police teams launched an investigation and began tracking the accused.
During the probe, police scanned hundreds of CCTV cameras and managed to trace the suspect.
The accused was subsequently arrested and allegedly confessed to the crime during interrogation.
According to police, the accused admitted to abducting the girl from a footpath and taking her to Gurugram, where he allegedly committed the crime.
Further investigation is underway.
