Man lured passengers with drugged Frooti at Delhi bus stand to rob them, arrested
Delhi Police arrested Philip alias Vicky for allegedly drugging Kashmiri Gate ISBT passengers with spiked Frooti and robbing them. Cops are now questioning him to trace the full racket after linking him to similar cases over 21 years.

Delhi Police has arrested a habitual offender who allegedly targetted passengers at Kashmiri Gate Inter State Bus Terminal (ISBT) by luring them with intoxicant-laced drinks.
The accused, identified as Philip alias Vicky, is said to have befriended travellers arriving from other states at bus terminals before spiking a popular soft drink with sedative tablets and robbing them once they lost consciousness.
According to police, the accused would offer travellers a bottle of 'Frooti' mixed with intoxicant pills. After consuming it, the people would become unconscious, following which he allegedly stole gold chains, watches, wallets and other valuables before fleeing the spot.
The arrest was made after police analysed CCTV footage and used the Facial Recognition System (FRS) to track down the suspect.
During the search, police recovered four Frooti tetra packs, 30 Lorazepam tablets, a stolen wallet, a wristwatch, and clothes allegedly worn during the commission of the crimes.
Officials said the accused has been involved in similar offences for the past 21 years. He already faces four prior cases registered at different police stations in Delhi involving comparable modus operandi.
Police are now interrogating him to determine the full extent of the racket.
