Iron sheets, bolts, nails: Delhi Police fortifies Jantar Mantar protest site

Delhi Police have heavily fortified security at Jantar Mantar and Sansad Marg to manage ongoing student protests. Authorities installed multi-layered barricades anchored directly into the road using iron sheets, bolts, and nails to prevent them from being moved or overturned.

The barricades have also been chained together to maintain security along Jai Singh Road and nearby protest sites. Senior police officials reviewed the security arrangements on the ground, assessing crowd movement and stating that the situation remains under control.

Despite the heightened security measures and extensive police deployment, protesting students continue to remain at the site.
