A broken 11,000-volt high-tension power line near Narsinghpur on Gurugram's National Highway 48 triggered massive traffic congestion on Saturday, bringing traffic to a halt on both the Delhi–Jaipur and Jaipur–Delhi carriageways. The snapped wire caused panic after falling onto the road, leading to a 4–5 km-long traffic jam stretching up to the Kherki Daula toll plaza. Police and district administration officials are at the spot, while efforts to remove the live power line are underway. Gurugram Traffic Police has advised commuters to avoid the affected stretch and use alternate routes until normal traffic movement is restored.
