No one responsible: Hyderabad NEET aspirant dies by suicide day before re-test
Before taking the extreme step, Sana is believed to have left a note written in English stating that "no one is responsible for my death."

A 19-year-old NEET aspirant allegedly died by suicide in Hyderabad's Miyapur, police said on Saturday, just a day before the scheduled NEET re-test on Sunday, police said. According to preliminary information, Sheikh Sana was preparing for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and was staying with her sisters while pursuing her studies. Her father, Sheikh Jafar Hussain, is reportedly working in Kuwait, while her mother had travelled to Proddatur around 10 days ago.
Police suspect academic pressure, family expectations and anxiety over past setbacks may have contributed to her distress. Before taking the extreme step, she is believed to have left a note in English stating that “no one is responsible for my death.”
Police reached the spot after receiving information, shifted the body to Gandhi Hospital for postmortem examination, and registered a case.
There has been a string of suicide cases involving NEET aspirants in recent days, causing concern among parents and child experts.

17-YEAR-OLD NEET ASPIRANT FOUND DEAD IN LUCKNOW
Earlier, a 17-year-old NEET aspirant, Suhani Yadav, allegedly died by suicide in Lucknow under Bazar Khala police station limits, police said. She was found hanging from a ceiling fan at her residence on Tuesday. No suicide note was recovered.
Family members told police that she had performed well in the NEET-UG examination held on May 3, which was later cancelled, and was hopeful of clearing it. However, they said she slipped into depression after the cancellation and was under academic stress while preparing for the re-exam scheduled for June 21.
Suhani’s family originally hails from Patna, and her father works as a Travelling Ticket Examiner in the Railways. Police said the National Testing Agency (NTA) had cancelled the exam amid allegations of paper leak, with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) tasked to probe irregularities.
