Panic broke out at educator Khan Sir's coaching institute in Bihar's capital on Thursday after a fire erupted in the building's electricity room, sending thick smoke billowing through the premises and forcing hundreds of students to rush out.

The incident occurred at Khan Sir's coaching centre, located in the Kisan Cold Storage building in the Musallahpur Haat area of Patna.

According to initial information, the blaze started in the building's electricity room, after which smoke quickly spread through the coaching institute, triggering chaos among students attending classes.

Hundreds of students evacuated the building as panic gripped the area. Before firefighters could arrive, coaching staff used fire extinguishers to bring the blaze under control, preventing it from spreading further.

No injuries or casualties were immediately reported. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
