CBSE 10th second board exam result 2026 LIVE updates: When will the results be declared?

The wait for the second board results has created uncertainty for some students seeking admission to Class 11, particularly in states where the admission process is already underway. Students hoping to improve their scores are awaiting the declaration to update their academic records.

Under the new Class 10 examination policy, students are not penalised for taking the second board examination. If they score higher in the May examination, the improved marks will be reflected in the final record. If the score is lower, the better score from the two attempts will be retained.

Nearly 6.8 lakh students appeared for the Class 10 second board examinations held from May 15 to May 21, 2026. The examination was introduced under CBSE's new two-board system, allowing eligible students another opportunity to improve their scores.

The online marksheet is expected to display subject-wise marks, grades, overall result status and other important details. Students should verify all information after downloading their scorecards.

As of now, CBSE has not confirmed the exact time for the declaration of the Class 10 second board exam results. Students are advised to follow only official updates and avoid unverified reports.

The second board examination was introduced to provide students with another opportunity to improve their performance in eligible subjects. The better score from the two examinations will be considered for the final result.

Once announced, students will be able to access their results through the official CBSE result websites as well as DigiLocker. The online marksheet will be provisional until the original documents are issued by schools.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has not yet announced the Class 10 second board examination results for the May 2026 session. Students are advised to keep their roll number, school number and admit card ID ready to check their scorecards once the results are declared.
