The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the Class 10 second board examination results for the May 2026 session soon, although it has not yet confirmed the official date and time. Students who appeared for the improvement examination will be able to access their scorecards on the official CBSE result portals once the results are declared.
The second board examination was conducted in May to give Class 10 students another opportunity to improve their performance without waiting for a supplementary exam. Under the new policy, students who wished to better their scores or clear eligible subjects were allowed to appear in the second examination, with the better of the two scores being considered for the final result.
Once declared, students will be able to download their marksheets from the official CBSE result portals as well as DigiLocker using their roll number, school number, admit card ID and date of birth. The provisional marksheet will display subject-wise marks, grades, qualifying status and other important details.
