The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will declare the results of the Chartered Accountant (CA) Final Examination held in May 2026 on June 18 by the evening.
Candidates who appeared for the examination will be able to check and download their results from the official results' portal using their registration number and roll number.
The announcement comes after the May examination cycle, which marked ICAI's return to its traditional twice-a-year examination schedule.
HOW TO CHECK ICAI CA SCORE
Once the results are released, candidates can visit caresults.icai.org and click on the 'CA Final May 2026 Result' link. After entering their registration number and roll number, they can view and download their scorecard.
The online result will display:

Distinction status, if applicable
Candidates are advised to keep their login credentials ready to avoid delays due to heavy traffic on the website.
DISTINCTION RULE EXPLAINED
ICAI has reiterated that candidates securing 70 per cent or more aggregate marks in a single sitting will be declared to have passed with distinction. Their official pass certificate will specifically mention this achievement.
The institute has also reminded candidates to rely only on the official ICAI results portal and avoid unofficial websites or social media links claiming to provide direct access to the results. In case of any discrepancy in the scorecard, candidates should immediately contact ICAI.
A RETURN TO THE TWICE-A-YEAR SCHEDULE
The May 2026 examination was significant as ICAI restored its conventional examination calendar. From this year onwards, CA examinations will be conducted only in May and November, while the January examination cycle has been discontinued.
Last year's May session saw Rajan Kabra secure the All India Rank 1, followed by Nishitha Bothra and Manav Rakesh Shah. This year's candidates will now be waiting to see who tops the merit list when the results are declared on June 18.
