Paramedical exam centre cancelled in Jaipur after paper irregularities row
The Rajasthan State Allied and Healthcare Council has cancelled Jaipur's Prabha Devi Memorial PG College exam centre after complaints and police action over suspected question paper irregularities. The move has put several paramedical diploma examinations on hold and left students waiting for revised schedules.

The Rajasthan State Allied and Healthcare Council has cancelled the examination centre at Prabha Devi Memorial PG College in Jaipur after allegations of irregularities and police action over suspected question paper-related issues.
In an official notice issued on June 29, the Council said the decision was taken in view of complaints regarding the examination process, including reported disorder at the centre. The move comes amid growing concerns over malpractice in paramedical examinations being conducted across multiple academic sessions.
The cancellation has been enforced with immediate effect, impacting ongoing and scheduled diploma examinations at the centre.
EXAMS PUT ON HOLD
Along with the centre cancellation, the Council has also suspended examinations for several paramedical courses, including DCLT, DDT and DECGT, until further orders.
The decision affects theory examinations for first-year diploma students, as well as remanded and supplementary exams spanning multiple academic sessions from 2019 to 20 to 2024–25.
Officials said the step was necessary to maintain examination integrity after reports of irregular activity and subsequent police intervention at the centre.
ACTION AFTER COMPLAINTS
According to the official communication, the decision follows complaints and enforcement action linked to alleged irregularities surrounding question papers and disruptions at the centre.
A day after Jaipur Police busted an alleged Rs 5.5 lakh paramedical exam cheating racket and arrested four people, students at one examination centre reported multiple irregularities, including delayed distribution of question papers, temporary tent seating and poor exam management.
While police have not linked these complaints to the cheating conspiracy, the allegations have intensified concerns over the fairness and integrity of the examination process, with students demanding a review.
The Council stated that ensuring a fair and transparent examination process remains its top priority. The Controller of Examinations ordered that the notice be uploaded to the official website and circulated for immediate compliance.
While no detailed findings have been publicly released yet, the cancellation signals a stricter approach towards examination centres flagged for misconduct or procedural violations.
STUDENTS CAUGHT IN UNCERTAINTY
The sudden cancellation has left students from multiple batches uncertain about the next schedule. Many were preparing for theory and supplementary papers in June 2026 across various paramedical streams.
Authorities are expected to announce revised dates or alternative arrangements once the ongoing review is completed.
For now, students have been advised to follow official updates from the Rajasthan State Allied and Healthcare Council website.
