Over 10 lakh download NEET re-test admit cards in 24 hours, NTA says servers stable
The National Testing Agency has said more than 10 lakh candidates downloaded their NEET UG 2026 re-examination admit cards within a day of the download link going live. The agency has assured students that technical teams are monitoring the portal round the clock.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has said that more than 10 lakh candidates have downloaded their NEET UG 2026 re-examination admit cards within about 24 hours of the admit card download facility being activated.
The update was shared by the agency through an official post on X, indicating a strong response from candidates preparing for the June 21 re-examination.
The admit card is a mandatory document for entry to the examination centre, and candidates have been downloading it since the portal went live.
TECH TEAMS KEEPING A CLOSE WATCH
With lakhs of students accessing the website simultaneously, the NTA said its technical teams are continuously monitoring the load on the servers to ensure the portal functions smoothly.
The agency added that it is keeping a close watch on system performance and has assured candidates that every eligible student will be able to download the admit card well before the examination.
The statement comes amid heightened attention on the examination process following the cancellation of the original NEET UG 2026 exam and the scheduling of the re-test.
NO NEED TO PANIC, SAYS NTA
The agency has urged candidates not to panic if they have not yet downloaded their admit cards.
According to the NTA, arrangements are in place to ensure that all candidates receive their admit cards in time for the examination. Students are advised to download the document only from the official NTA portal and verify all details printed on it before the examination day.
The NEET UG 2026 re-examination will be conducted on June 21 under enhanced security arrangements across the country.
