The National Testing Agency (NTA) has confirmed that the NEET (UG) 2026 re-examination will also be conducted in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, alongside centres in India. The exam will be held in pen-and-paper mode on Sunday, 21 June 2026, with strict instructions issued for candidates appearing at the overseas centre.
According to the Embassy of India in Riyadh and official NTA communication, the examination will be conducted at the International Indian School Riyadh (IISR), Boys Section.
WHEN AND WHERE THE EXAM WILL BE HELD
The exam will take place from 11:30 am to 2:45 pm Saudi time. Candidates will be allowed to enter the centre from 8:30 am onwards, with entry closing sharply at 11:00 am. Students have been advised to arrive before 10:30 am to complete document verification and security checks.
The Embassy clarified that late entry will not be permitted under any circumstances. The examination venue is located at Al Hasan Ibn Ali Street, Exit 24, Rawdah, Riyadh.
WHAT CANDIDATES MUST CARRY
Authorities have made it clear that strict verification rules will be followed at the centre. Candidates must carry their original admit card, photographs and valid identity proof.
“Candidates should carry to the examination centre without fail the admit card, photographs and ID proof as required under NTA guidelines,” the post read.
Students are also required to carry:

Officials have warned that entry will be denied without these documents.

Security measures will be strict at the centre. Candidates will undergo frisking, including checks using hand-held metal detectors. “Candidates are advised to adhere to the NTA Guidelines with respect to the dress code, prohibited items and others,” the post stated.
The list of banned items includes mobile phones, calculators, stationery, Bluetooth devices, watches, wallets, handbags, belts, metallic objects and even eatables. High heels and fancy shoes are also not permitted.
Officials have also stated that only candidates will be allowed inside the examination centre, and they must note their hall and row numbers from the seating plan displayed on-site.
