NEET UG 2026 re-test refund deadline extended: Update bank details by July 14
The NTA has extended the deadline to update bank account details for the NEET UG 2026 exam fee refund to July 14. Meanwhile, the NEET UG re-exam 2026 results will be declared by July 20 after objections to the provisional answer key are reviewed.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the deadline for candidates to confirm, correct, or update their bank account details to receive a refund of the examination fee following the cancellation of the exam held on May 3, 2026. Candidates can now complete the process until July 14, 2026, by 11:50 pm.
According to the latest notification, around 10,28,223 candidates have so far updated and confirmed their bank account details. The NTA has already begun processing refunds for these candidates.
Earlier, the deadline to update and confirm bank account details was July 7, 2026.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will declare the NEET UG re-exam 2026 results by July 20, NTA sources told India Today, adding that the revised schedule will not disrupt the medical academic calendar.
The re-examination was held on June 21 after the May 3 NEET UG exam was cancelled over alleged paper leak concerns that affected more than 20 lakh candidates.
The NTA published the provisional answer key on June 25 and invited objections until June 28. Candidates were required to pay a refundable fee of Rs 200 per question for each challenge, with the amount refunded if the objection was found to be valid.
Officials said the agency received nearly 10,000 objections, all of which will be examined under the standard verification process before the final answer key and results are announced.
