IMPORTANT DETAILS
Through the DAF window, candidates are required to submit their personal details, pay the applicable examination fee, update scribe-related information (if applicable), and request assistive facilities such as large-font question papers or other accommodations for candidates with benchmark disabilities.
Candidates will also have to provide their cadre preferences during this stage. The Commission has advised candidates to carefully fill in all details, as the information submitted through the DAF plays a significant role in the further stages of the recruitment process.
Female candidates, SC, ST, and PwBD candidates are exempted from paying the examination fee, while other candidates must pay a fee of 200 during the application process.
ADMIT CARD TO BE ISSUED AFTER SUCCESSFUL DAF SUBMISSION
The UPSC has clarified that e-Admit Cards for the Civil Services Main Examination 2026 will be generated only after candidates successfully submit their DAF.
Candidates who fail to complete the application process by June 28, 2026, will not be allowed to appear for the Main Examination. The Commission has warned that delays in submitting the form may lead to candidates missing out on the next stage of the recruitment process.
With a nine-day window available, candidates are advised to complete the DAF process well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues or errors. Timely submission of the form remains essential for all aspirants aiming to continue their journey towards the Civil Services Examination 2026.
