University of Strathclyde announces £8,000 scholarships for January 2027 intake
The University of Strathclyde scholarships are available across a range of disciplines, including education, English, history, international relations, journalism, languages, law, politics, psychology, social policy and teaching.

The University of Strathclyde has announced International Master's Scholarships for self-funded international (non-EU) students enroling in eligible full-time, on-campus postgraduate taught programmes under its Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in January 2027.
Under the scholarship scheme, eligible students can receive tuition fee reductions of either £6,000 or £8,000, depending on their chosen programme. Students admitted to Master's programmes offered by the Law School will receive scholarships worth £8,000, while those enroled in other eligible courses will be awarded £6,000.
The scholarships are available across a range of disciplines, including education, English, history, international relations, journalism, languages, law, politics, psychology, social policy and teaching.
A separate scholarship application is not required. All eligible international offer holders will be automatically considered after confirming their place by paying the required tuition fee deposit within the scholarship deadline, which will be announced by the university.

To be eligible, applicants must:
Hold an offer for a full-time, on-campus postgraduate taught Master's programme in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences for the 2027 academic year

Meet all offer conditions and pay the required deposit by the specified deadline
Enrol in studies beginning in January 2027
Online and blended-learning programmes, as well as postgraduate certificates and diplomas, are not eligible for the scholarship. Students can receive only one University of Strathclyde scholarship per academic year.
Scholarship recipients will also be expected to participate in student ambassador activities, including supporting recruitment events and outreach initiatives during their studies.
