In the song, Fatehi performs her signature dance moves, while Bedi appears with the charm of his popular character Jameel Jamali.

Ya Baba blends Arabic influences with celebratory rhythms and an energetic soundscape. The song has been composed by Sanjoy, with lyrics by Nora Fatehi, Sanjoy and Vayu. The music video is available on the T-Series YouTube channel, while the track is streaming on major audio platforms.

The Arabic influences in Ya Baba are reflected not only in the music but also in the visual mood of the video. The track combines these elements with an upbeat, festive setting.

Fatehi then joined him and said, “Hi sir, we are so excited to have you with us.” When Bedi said he was very happy to work with her, Fatehi replied, “You are killing it, Sir.” Bedi then said, “I tried my best to compete with you, to be as good as you are.”

Fatehi went on to praise him and said that he had danced really well and had done very well. She added that she could not wait for everyone to see the song and his moves. Bedi responded with a joke, saying, “How much she lies,” as Fatehi laughed.

She then said she was telling the truth and added, “Sir killed it, and it has a really good vibe. You have to see this song to believe it. We are so excited for you guys to see it. I feel like, in all weddings, people will play this song.” Bedi agreed, and the conversation ended there.

More about the unlikely pair

The collaboration has also drawn attention because of Bedi’s recent popularity after Dhurandhar. His character, Jameel Jamali, became a fan favourite after the film’s release, and several of his scenes went viral on social media. His line, “Baccha hai tu mera”, was widely used in memes, and he later appeared in several advertisements.

For Fatehi, Ya Baba arrives during a busy run of projects. Her latest track, Siir Siir, was recently released as part of the official music project for the FIFA World Cup 2026. Fatehi also performed at the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup 2026 in Toronto.
