Speculation surrounding Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's reported wedding continues to grow, with fresh reports suggesting extensive security arrangements are already underway. Employees at the rumoured venue, Madison Square Garden, have allegedly been asked to leave their phones behind while on duty as preparations for the high-profile event gather pace.

Multiple reports have suggested that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce could get married on July 3, followed by a larger celebration on July 4, a date that coincides with the United States' Independence Day. However, neither the couple nor their representatives have confirmed the reports.

According to TMZ, workers at Madison Square Garden have been informed that they cannot carry or use their mobile phones during their shifts. The publication, quoting employees at the venue, reported that the restriction is currently in effect for staff involved in the preparations.

Although no official explanation has been given for the policy, it is believed to be part of efforts to keep details of the event under wraps by preventing photos or videos of the venue, decor and celebrity guests from being leaked online.

"They can’t have their phones during the shift," one of the employees told the publication.

The report added that employees have also been issued wristbands and are required to clear an additional security checkpoint before entering the venue for work, indicating heightened security around the reported celebrations.

Swift and Kelce have not publicly confirmed their wedding date or revealed any details about the ceremony. Even so, reports continue to link Madison Square Garden to the event. Temporary event structures are reportedly being planned outside the venue, while hotels in the surrounding area have allegedly received bookings for members of the Kansas City Chiefs who are expected to attend.

Reports differ on the expected turnout, with some estimating between 500 and 1,000 guests, while others suggest the celebration could welcome as many as 1,200 attendees. The wedding is also expected to feature strict privacy measures, including non-disclosure agreements for guests and electronic invitations aimed at reducing the risk of leaks.

Speculation about Swift and Kelce's relationship ended in September 2023 when Swift attended one of his Kansas City Chiefs games. Reports later revealed that the couple had begun dating weeks earlier after Kelce attempted to meet the pop star following her Eras Tour concert in Kansas City. They reportedly got engaged in August 2025.
