Comic Zakir Khan watches in awe, bows and hugs Johnny Lever at Papa Yaar show

Veteran comedian and actor Johnny Lever made a special appearance at Zakir Khan's ongoing Papa Yaar show in Mumbai, drawing loud cheers from the audience as the two shared the stage. Khan welcomed Lever with a warm hug, and videos and pictures from the evening quickly spread on social media.

The appearance brought together two generations of Indian comedy, with fans reacting to the rare sight of Johnny Lever attending Khan's live performance. After the show, Khan shared a note for Lever on Instagram, calling him a legend and thanking him for coming to watch the show.

In his post, he wrote, "King @iam_johnylever came to watch 'Papa Yaar' yesterday. We all walk the path he paved for all of us. True legend (sic)."

The post reflected his gratitude and admiration for the senior comedian, whose work, he said, has inspired generations of performers.

Actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who appeared to be part of the show, commented on the post, saying, "Whatta a fantastic show bro. Was too overwhelmed to take pictures and videos (sic)."

Actor Gajraj Rao also reacted in the comments with several red-heart emoticons.
