Bridgeton is available for streaming under 'You savor swoonworthy romances' section.

Netflix has launched a new hub for readers who also enjoy screen adaptations. Called 'Watch Your Favorite Books', the page went live on Tuesday and brings together films and series inspired by books, with the aim of helping users revisit familiar stories or find a new one to follow.

The move also reflects how strongly book-to-screen titles have worked for the streamer over the years. Netflix has had major success with adaptations such as Bridgerton and The Queen's Gambit. It is now packaging that library in one place while also pointing viewers towards a fresh slate of upcoming releases.

The streaming platform has organised the section around nine kinds of readers: You Crave Amazing Characters, You're into Immersive World-Building, You Savor Swoonworthy Romances, You're a Nonfiction Fanatic, You Love a Great Plot Twist, You Collect Manga and Comics, You're Wild About Web Stories, You're a History and Period Piece Buff, and You Adore All-Ages Adventures.

Titles on the Netflix shelf

Under You Crave Amazing Characters, the current line-up includes Vladimir, Gossip Girl, 13 Reasons Why and The Queen's Gambit. The Immersive World-Building section includes The Vampire Diaries, Lord of the Rings, Wicked and Frankenstein. The Great Plot Twist category features A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, Murder Mindfully, Sacred Games and You.

The romance shelf includes Sullivan's Crossing, Virgin River, The Museum of Innocence and Sweet Magnolias. The nonfiction group includes Orange Is the New Black, New Amsterdam, Baby Reindeer and Padmaavat. In the history and period piece section, Netflix lists Anne with an E, Emergency, Outlander and Persuasion.

The all-ages adventures section includes Wonka, Clifford the Big Red Dog, The Wild Robot and Boss Baby. The manga and comics group includes Jujutsu Kaisen, Naruto, Demon Slayer and Komi Can't Communicate. The web stories section features Pursuit of Jade, Ashes To Crown, Shine on Me and The Princess Royal.

Why Netflix is doing this now

Mansi Patel, Senior Director of Product Merchandising at the company, said Netflix has seen strong interest from fans in book-to-screen adaptations. She said, “Built on our recently redesigned experience and the success of earlier fan-inspired collections, such as ‘Your Zodiac Watchlist,’ ‘Watch Your Favorite Books’ brings together our library of book-inspired entertainment into one engaging, immersive space.”

She added that the feature would make it “fun and exciting” for viewers to find their next watch based on personal taste and reading style.

More adaptations on the way

Netflix is also lining up more adaptations throughout the year. The upcoming shows include versions of Pride and Prejudice, East of Eden and Little House on the Prairie. The second part of One Hundred Years of Solitude is set to premiere in August, while Millie Bobby Brown's Enola Holmes 3, based on Nancy Springer's books, will air in July.

A drama based on Jhumpa Lahiri's short story Unaccustomed Earth is also set to air in 2026, and Bridgerton Season 5 will air in 2027.
