Lock Upp 2: Akanksha Chamola says she won't remarry after divorce from Gaurav Khanna
Lock Upp 2 contestant Akanksha Chamola said she does not want to marry again and wants to live on her own terms. Her remarks came after she revealed her separation from Gaurav Khanna and spoke about differing views on parenthood.

Lock Upp Season 2 contestant Akanksha Chamola said that she doesn't want to marry again after divorce with husband-actor Gaurav Khanna. Chamola, who has gained newfound popularity with her appearance on the reality show, added that she wants to live independently.
During a conversation with fellow contestants Sufi Motiwala and Shreya Kalra, Chamola emphasised that she wanted to live separately and "completely on her own terms."
She was heard as saying, "I don't want to get married again. I think I’m done. This is the first time I will be living alone, not under my parents’ roof or my husband’s. I am going to have my own house. I am going to live solo for the rest of my life."
The statement came days after she announced during the premiere episode of Lock Upp Season 2 that she and Gaurav had not been living together for months. Chamola also announced on the stage that she and her actor husband are headed for a divorce.
Later in the show, Chamola said the differences in the marriage had emerged after the two realised that they wanted different things in life. The actor said while Khanna had been wanting a child, she was not ready yet.
Chamola explained, "During our marriage I didn’t feel it. I thought maybe I’d discover it later, but I eventually realised motherhood wasn’t for me. He was fine with it at first, but things changed with time," she shared.
Chamola and Khanna got married in November 2016 after meeting at an audition. She was 24 then. For nearly 10 years, they were considered one of TV’s popular couples.
"I married so young, I was 24," she said, talking about how much her life is set to change now.
Is Akanksha Chamola bisexual?
In another episode, Chamola also opened up about her sexuality, saying she identifies as bisexual. "Women are my safe space. I like them, I admire them, I am drawn to them. Growing up in a male-dominated world, I always found comfort with my mom and sisters. I love feminine energy. People say women can’t be friends without jealousy. But I don’t believe that. All women are beautiful to me. Society calls it a tag, but for me it’s just pure love."
