Sharm nahi ayi? Vikas Gupta confronts Shilpa Shinde over Shivangi's virginity remark
Producer Vikas Gupta confronted actor Shilpa Shinde inside Lock Upp 2 over her remarks against actors Shivangi Joshi and Ram Kapoor. The exchange brought earlier comments on Shivangi's personal life.
Producer Vikas Gupta made a dramatic entry into Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa during the finale week, but his appearance soon turned into a fiery confrontation with actor Shilpa Shinde. Vikas entered the show and called out Shinde over her recent comments about fellow contestants Shivangi Joshi and Ram Kapoor. He also questioned Shinde over her remarks about Shivangi’s personal life and directly asked her how she could discuss a girl’s virginity on national television.
Other than Shinde's remarks about Shivangi’s personal life, he even questioned her for body-shaming Ram Kapoor.
As soon as he approached the Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain actor, he told her that, despite being his senior, she did not deserve to be addressed as “Shilpa Ji”.
“Aap kitni badtameez hain aapko maalum hai? Apne kya kiya hai. Jo ye ladki (referring to Shivangi) apke bagal main khadi hai, apne kitne gandi baatein boli uske baare mein? Matlab itni badtameezi?" (Do you realise how rude you have been? Do you know what you have done? This girl standing next to you, do you realise the horrible things you said about her? How could you be so disrespectful?), Vikas said.
He then turned towards Ram Kapoor and asked Shilpa, “Apko senior artist bolte hai, apne inke baarein main kya kya bola hai apko pata hai? Uss mote ke saath soungi main?" (You’re called a senior artist, but do you realise what you have said about him? ‘How will I sleep with this fat man?) It wasn’t making fun. You are a person like this. Jo tum itni negativity phailati ho na uska kuch nahi kar sakta koi bhi. Tum Shilpa ji nahi rahi ab, you are only Shilpa" (No one can do anything about the negativity you spread. You’re no longer ‘Shilpa Ji’; you’re just Shilpa). Remember that.”
Vikas again confronted Shilpa over her ‘virginity’ remark against Shivangi. “Kya bola tha apne iske bare main?" (What did you talk about her?).
To which Shilpa clarified, “Iske bare main jo bahar hai vahi bola” (I said whatever is out in public).
Replying to her, Vikas said, “Kisi ki personal life ko iss tareeke se batameezi se bakwas karna. Ek ladki ki virginity discuss kar rahe the on national television. Sharm nahi ayi?" (Discussing someone’s personal life in such a disrespectful and inappropriate manner. You were discussing a girl’s virginity on national television. Weren’t you ashamed?)
In one of the episodes on Lock Upp, Shinde alleged that Shivangi had been involved with several male co-stars. She also made a remark about the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor's virginity while mimicking her.
The video showed Shilpa with Shreya Kalra and Madhuri Jain Grover during a conversation in which Shreya said she would mock Harshad, while Shilpa should mock Shivangi.
Shilpa mimicked Shivangi and said, "Main to bahut masoom hoon. Mujhe to kuch bhi nahi pata, main virgin hoon. Main to shaadi ke baad bhi nahi karungi.” (I am very innocent. I don’t know anything. I am a virgin. I will not even do it after my wedding).
