During the episode launch, hosts Riteish Deshmukh and Farah Khan asked Harshad why he has always preferred to keep his personal life away from the public eye despite enjoying a massive fan following. They pointed out that many of his fans often say they know very little about him.
As part of his jail entry challenge, Harshad was asked to reveal a secret that he had never shared before. It was then that the actor opened up about the most difficult phase of his life.
Harshad said, "I lost two of the most important people in my life. Ever since then I've struggled to trust people and open up. This is a secret I have never shared with anyone. I lost my friend and my girlfriend. At the same time, my girlfriend cheated on me with my best friend. From that time onwards, I'm a little wary. That's it, that is my secret."
The revelation left everyone on stage emotional. Harshad himself became teary-eyed as he admitted that he had never spoken about the incident publicly and had carried the pain alone for the last 16 years. He also shared that the betrayal took place in 2010.
Shivangi Joshi, who has worked with Harshad, was visibly moved by his confession. She held his hand to comfort him, while fellow contestant Sufi Motiwala showed his support by saying, "We love you!"
