Lock Upp: Did Dheeraj Dhoopar confirm Shivangi Joshi-Hashad Chopda's relationship?
After his Lock Upp 2 exit, Dheeraj Dhoopar referred to Shivangi Joshi as Harshad Chopda's girlfriend during a media interaction. The remark has renewed focus on their bond even as the family chit row continues to be discussed.

After his eviction from Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa, TV actor Dheeraj Dhoopar has reignited speculation surrounding Harshad Chopda and Shivangi Joshi's relationship. During a post-exit interview on Monday, Dhoopar referred to Shivangi as Harshad's "girlfriend".
Speaking to Access TV, Dheeraj was asked why he largely stayed away from confrontations inside the house despite several contestants targeting him. Responding to the question, he explained that he did not believe in forcing conflicts and, in the process, appeared to describe Shivangi Joshi and Akanksha Chaudhary as the "girlfriends" of Harshad Chopda and Yogesh Rawat, respectively.
"I didn't come here (Lock Upp) to play a game, I came here to change the game. I evicted Yogesh because I had the power. Akanksha Choudhary should have come and fought me. Harshad should have asked Shivangi to come and fight if I was the one who voted him out. If their girlfriends won't come and fight me, I won't go and force them to fight," he said.
When a reporter pointed out that Harshad appeared to be "madly in love" with Shivangi, Dheeraj replied, "Toh woh jo dikh raha hai, wahi hoga phir (So, what is visible is exactly what it will be)."
Neither Harshad nor Shivangi has publicly confirmed being in a relationship. The two actors have consistently maintained that they share a close friendship, despite persistent dating rumours among fans.
Dheeraj also addressed the 'chit' controversy
Dheeraj's comments came days after another controversy involving his family during Lock Upp 2. The actor recently reunited with his son, Zayn, inside the house, but the emotional moment later came under scrutiny after host Riteish Deshmukh questioned whether Dheeraj had received handwritten notes, or "chits", from his family in violation of the show's rules.
Responding to the allegations, Dheeraj's wife, Vinny Arora, shared a video clarifying that the note contained no game-related information or strategy.
"There was no outside information, no strategy, nothing like that. It was just a wife concerned about her husband," she said, adding that she had merely asked Dheeraj to signal if he was unwell and encouraged him to play more actively if he was fine. Calling it an "emotional mistake", Vinny maintained that the message was purely personal.
Harshad Chopda and Shivangi Joshi, who previously worked together in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 4, have remained one of the closest pairs on Lock Upp 2.
