Ravi Kishan reacted after actor Sanchita Ugale died by suicide in Mumbai at 26. He emphasised the significance of meditation, spirituality, and emotional strength to navigate life's hardships and urged everyone to keep hope alive.

Actor and politician Ravi Kishan has reacted to the death of television actor Sanchita Ugale, who died by suicide on June 14. Speaking to PTI, he expressed concern over the growing number of young people taking their own lives and spoke about the importance of meditation, spirituality and emotional resilience.
Referring to Sanchita's death, Ravi Kishan said how young people are increasingly becoming suicidal. "Just yesterday, one of our artists, a young television actor who was only 22 years old, died by suicide. It is very tragic," he said.
"Isiliye meditation zaroori hai, adhyatma zaroori hai. Pooja paath zaroori hai. Thodi shaktiyan milti hain. Sukh-dukh to aate rehte hain, woh aate rahenge" (That is why meditation is important, spirituality is important, and prayer is important. They give us strength. Happiness and sorrow are a part of life and will continue to come and go)," he added.
The actor said that everyone faces worries and difficult phases in life, but it is important to keep going. "Aisa koi vyakti nahin hai jo dukhi nahin hai, jisko chinta nahin hai. Lekin zinda bhi rehna hai na" (There is no person who has never felt sad or worried. But we must continue to live).
Ravi Kishan also shared his personal beliefs about suicide and the soul. "Suicide to sabse bada paap hai. Woh aatma ko kabhi moksh hi nahin milta (Suicide is the greatest sin. The soul never attains liberation)," he said.
