Fact Check: These videos DO NOT show Sri Ganganagar minor rape victim

In Rajasthan’s Sri Ganganagar, a 13-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped and gang-raped for five days between June 18 and 23, before she was rescued. Out of 32 suspects, 14 have been arrested so far.
Two videos now going viral on social media allegedly show the minor victim in a hospital. In one video, she can be seen being consoled by a woman and a man, and in the other, the girl says that after her death, everyone will be implicated, including the police.
Sharing one of the videos, an X user wrote, “The silence surrounding the brutal five-day gang-rape of an innocent 13-year-old girl by 30 men in Ganganagar is absolutely deafening. There are no protests, no mainstream news broadcasts and no trending topics on X for an act so monstrous. It raises a disturbing question: is the public and media looking the other way purely because this happened under the BJP administration? Everything is allowed under BJP watch?”

OUR PROBE
Reverse-searching frames from the videos led us to a report which featured a similar video of the minor girl crying in a hospital published by the Dainik Bhaskar on June 30. As per the report, an 11-year-old Dalit girl was allegedly gang-raped in the Bilgram area of Uttar Pradesh’s Hardoi district.
The victim’s family is reportedly from the Harpalpur area in Hardoi and has been living in Kanpur for the last 10 years. On June 22, the accused, Rahul Tiwari, Prashant, his wife Priya, and Guddu kidnapped the girl. The police claim that the girl walked into the police station on her own on June 28 and is currently admitted to a hospital.
India Today correspondent Prashant Pathak confirmed that the video shows the alleged rape victim from Hardoi, who is currently admitted to a hospital. He also shared the video statement of the victim’s father and Bilgram Circle Officer Ramsurat Sonkar.
The victim’s father alleged that his daughter was abducted on June 22, but the Bilgram police did not act despite their complaint. The father further accused police officer Deep Narayan Pandey of assaulting and threatening the family, pressuring them to withdraw the case.
Officer Sonkar said the girl reached Bilgram police station on her own on June 28, after which her statement was recorded. She was produced before the Child Welfare Committee for medical examination. He further said action will be taken based on her court statement and medical report.
