Kolkata's grand Durga Puja: Pandals celebrate art, tradition and Armed Forces

Kolkata is enveloped in the festive spirit of Durga Puja, with various organisations unveiling unique pandal designs. At Santosh Mitra Square in Central Kolkata, a pandal will be a tribute to the Armed Forces with the theme 'Operation Sindoor'.  Another unique concept is at Kashi Bose Lane, where the theme is 'Pak Dondi', based on the autobiography of a Bengali female writer, embodying the message of simple living and thinking. The Hathi Bagan Universal Durga Puja Pandal is depicting the various Ganga Ghats of Kolkata, conveying their history. Meanwhile, the Mudiyali Durga Utsav Committee continues its tradition of worshipping the idols in a grand, conventional manner.
