Durgapur sweet maker crafts life-size Messi statue out of khoya and chocolate

In West Bengal's Durgapur, a local sweet maker and diehard Lionel Messi fan has crafted a lifelike, life-size statue of the Argentine legend. The statue is made entirely out of khoya, kheer, white and dark chocolate, and food colours. This sweet creation showcases the connection between football and sweets in Bengal during the World Cup.
