Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, who is set to be the state's first BJP CM after Nitish Kumar resigned on Tuesday, addressed a gathering, reflecting on a three-decade political journey and expressing gratitude to the central and state leadership for entrusting him with key responsibilities. The address highlighted the transition from serving as the state party president to assuming the roles of Deputy Chief Minister, Finance Minister, and subsequently Home Minister following the alliance's significant electoral victory of securing 202 seats in the 2025 assembly elections. Samrat Choudhary emphasised the ideological commitment to prioritising the nation and strengthening the party organisation at the grassroots level. Acknowledging the guidance of the state's top leadership in establishing good governance, the address outlined a unified vision to transform Bihar into a prosperous state, aligning with the central government's goal of a developed nation by 2047.
