Security measures tightened in Jammu & Kashmir for Republic Day

Security has been heightened across Jammu and Kashmir for the 76th Republic Day celebrations. The main event will occur at Maulana Azad Stadium in Jammu, where Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha will raise the national flag, and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah will attend as the chief guest. Authorities have placed the region under high alert, particularly along the Line of Control and the India-Pakistan border.
