10-year-old Odisha boy climbed three to pluck jamuns, got stuck for 2 hours
According to reports, the child lost his balance while climbing and slipped, causing his leg to get stuck tightly between two branches. Despite attempts by his friends to help him, the boy could not be freed as his leg became further wedged.

Fruit picking will never be the same again for a 10-year-old boy in Odisha’s Bolangir district after he remained trapped between the branches of a jamun tree for nearly two hours before being rescued.
The incident took place when the boy climbed the tree along with his friends to pluck jamun fruits.
According to reports, the child lost his balance while climbing and slipped, causing his leg to get stuck tightly between two branches. Despite attempts by his friends to help him, the boy could not be freed as his leg became further wedged.
After some time, local residents noticed the child in distress and informed his family members. A rescue effort was immediately launched to bring him down safely.
During the operation, a portion of the tree was carefully cut using a tree-cutting machine to free the boy without causing further injury.
After nearly two hours of efforts, the child was successfully rescued. He was brought down safely and no injuries were reported immediately.
