1 dead, over 100 injured in Puri Rath Yatra stampede

A stampede-like situation broke out during the Puri Rath Yatra in Odisha, leaving one dead while over 100 devotees were injured. Around 10 lakh devotees had gathered in front of the chariots of Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra. The incident occurred when the cordon area was opened and people rushed towards the Rath as the Yatra started. Currently, over 50 to 55 people are admitted to the hospital, with one person in critical condition.
