Navjot Kaur Sidhu has hinted at the launch of a new national-level political party, sharing a detailed message on X along with a photo bearing the name Bharatiya Rashtrawadi Party.
In her post, Sidhu, wife of cricketer turned politician Navjot Singh Sidhu, described the move as a long-awaited step, suggesting that she and like-minded individuals have been working on an alternative political platform after closely assessing the current state of leadership.
“The much awaited announcement; we have been working on a new alternative at a national level after carefully monitoring and reviewing the current standards of performance of political leaders,” she wrote.
Her message struck a spiritual and reform-driven tone, emphasising service, justice and collective responsibility. Sidhu said the initiative was driven by a desire to “give back to the people what they truly deserve and expect from us.”
Calling it a “divine intervention,” she said the effort has brought together individuals with “ability, confidence, courage and determination” to work across states with a common goal of ensuring justice and peace.
She also outlined a vision for Punjab, saying the state should regain its “long lost glory” as a “Golden State,” rooted in values of love, sharing, liberty and selfless service. “A government of the people, for the people and by the people of Punjab,” she said.
Sidhu added that the movement would focus on “healing the wounded souls” and working on the path of “truth and love,” which she described as the guiding principles of the initiative.
