CJP's Abhijeet Dipke has a question after PM 'forgives' students who abused him
As PM Narendra Modi took to Instagram for the fifth time in a week to reach out to the students, Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke questioned him if cases against the protesters would be dropped.

The video came amid controversy over a teen from Noida being booked for making abusive remarks against the Prime Minister during the student protests at Jantar Mantar. The sustained protests over exam paper leaks and irregularities in the education system eventually led to the resignation of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
"Some youngsters hurled crude abuses. Words were used that do not befit a civilised society. I was personally abused, and even my late mother was subjected to vile insults," PM Modi said in his late-night video.
"Abuses never solve anything. Punishing them, dragging them through court proceedings, or harassing them - none of this will change the situation. I wish to forgive them... Let's guide the misguided," the Prime Minister further said.
On Thursday, PM Modi released a similar selfie-style video hailing the passage of the amended anti-paper leak bill, which sets out stricter punishments for those involved in exam paper leaks.
Mocking the Prime Minister's video, Dipke commented, "Your skin is brighter than the country's future."
CASES AGAINST STUDENTS LATEST FLASHPOINT
A week after Pradhan's resignation, cases filed against student protesters across the country have become the latest flashpoint between the CJP and the government.
Dipke and CJP leaders have claimed that students who participated in the protests were being harassed and threatened with arrest. Dipke has warned of a much bigger protest if the government did not address their concerns.
While several states have withdrawn FIRs filed against students, those filed against protesters with a criminal past continue to be pursued.
It comes against the backdrop of the Supreme Court directing states to release all minors and those without any criminal antecedents who were arrested or detained during the CJP-led protests.
The issue got a fresh wind after Noida police lodged a Zero FIR against the teen who was seen in videos abusing the Prime Minister.
A Zero FIR can be registered at any police station regardless of where the alleged offence took place. The case has now been transferred to the Delhi Police.
Amid the police action, the teen released an apology video, underlining that she got carried away by people around her who were raising abusive slogans against PM Modi.
Calling it her "first and last mistake", the teen said, "I am only 15 years old. Whatever I did was not worthy of forgiveness. I have said a lot of bad things."
The action against the teen had drawn the ire of the CJP. While saying that derogatory language should be condoned, spokesperson Saurav Das emphasised that criminal prosecution over it would have a "chilling effect on free speech".
Dipke, in a video message, questioned why similar action had not been taken against BJP leaders or the party's IT cell over their previous "crass" remarks. He also cited a previous objectionable remark by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath against a camera person.
"The CM of UP had a video, where he had abused a camera person... Are there two laws in this country? There is a separate law for youth and a separate law for BJP and their leaders," Dipke further said.
