CJP Protest Highlights: Will live up to PM's expectations, says new Education Minister Pralhad Joshi

Cockroach Janta Party Protest Highlights: A third round of meeting between representatives of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) and the Centre is set to be held today. After the previous round of talks, CJP spokespersons Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka had said that the prospects of two out of their three main demands being met were looking positive. However, the point of contention remained the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, the CJP representatives said. Hours later, sources within the government ruled out the possibility of the minister's resignation. "Resigning and running away from responsibility will be the easiest thing to do. People have given us the mandate, and we will deliver," they stated. During the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also thanked everyone for the responses and positive suggestions received to his video, where he announced the government's decision to bring a strict law to punish those involved in paper leaks.
