A dramatic road rage incident in Haryana's Gurugram has gone viral after a Sikh truck driver was seen confronting a group of men allegedly involved in an assault following a minor collision with a private bus.
The incident took place near Jhajjar Gate in the Farrukhnagar area, where a truck and a private bus were reportedly involved in a minor accident that damaged the bus's side mirror.
According to local accounts, an argument broke out after the collision, following which the bus driver, conductor and several others allegedly attacked the truck driver with sticks, rods and other objects. The attackers are also accused of damaging the truck's windows.
Videos recorded by bystanders and widely shared on social media show the Sikh driver emerging from his vehicle and confronting the group. Witnesses claimed that he initially took out his kirpan (a twisted knife) and later wielded a sword after the confrontation escalated.
The footage shows the driver raising the Sikh religious slogan 'Bole So Nihal' before chasing away several men who had allegedly surrounded him. The crowd can be seen dispersing as the driver advances toward them.
No serious injuries were immediately reported in the incident.
After receiving information about the clash, Gurugram Police reached the spot and intervened. According to local reports, both sides were counselled, and the matter was resolved through a mutual settlement, with no major legal action reported.
