As the number of affected children increased, parents rushed them to the District Government Hospital and various private hospitals for treatment. Sources said children began reporting symptoms one after another from Tuesday morning, and by evening, over 20 had been admitted to hospitals.
Parents of the affected children claimed that the illnesses could be linked to the food consumed the previous evening. However, officials have not yet confirmed the exact cause of the health issues.
Medical authorities are monitoring the condition of the children, while an investigation is underway to ascertain whether the illnesses were caused by contaminated food or any other factor. Most of the children are undergoing treatment and are reported to be in stable condition.
Authorities are expected to collect food samples and conduct laboratory tests to determine the cause of the suspected food poisoning incident.
