Paramilitary deployment in the national capital has been extended by four more weeks following a review of protest sites. Security reviews for new demonstration grounds stand completed, with Jantar Mantar no longer designated as an official protest venue. Instead, Ramlila Ground, Burari Ground, and CBD Ground have been earmarked as the new locations for holding demonstrations. The deployment period for 20,000 paramilitary personnel stationed across Delhi was prolonged in view of recurring flash protests. Authorities noted the decision accounts for unscheduled and spontaneous demonstrations in the capital.
