In an exclusive interview with India Today TV, IRS officer Sameer Wankhede, who filed a defamation suit against the makers of "The Ba***ds of Bollywood", said he is fighting for the rights of law enforcement officers, and they can't be mocked, lampooned and humiliated. The Delhi High Court has issued summons in the case, with the next hearing scheduled for October 30th. Wankhede is seeking Rs two crore in damages, which he stated will be donated to Tata Memorial Hospital. He said the series has led to trolling and threats against his wife and sister. Voicing his resolve, Wankhede said, "I'm fighting for the rights of the law enforcement officers who are giving their life to the nation, who are fighting against serious issues like drugs. They are giving blood to the nation. They cannot be mocked, they cannot be lampooned, they cannot be humiliated like that."
