A court in Ayodhya has sent all eight accused arrested in the Ram Mandir donation scam case to three days of judicial custody. The police stated in court that they recovered over Rs seventy-nine lakh from the accused. This recovery was made after the registration of the First Information Report and subsequent questioning. The police carried out searches at multiple locations, including the homes of the accused, leading to these recoveries. The accused are scheduled to be produced in court again on Monday, where the police are expected to file an application seeking their custody for further interrogation and investigation as the probe continues.
