Supreme Court dismisses Meenakshi Natarajan's plea against nomination rejection

The Supreme Court dismissed a petition filed by the Congress party's Rajya Sabha candidate Meenakshi Natarajan's plea challenging the rejection of her nomination papers. The apex court stated it would not interfere in the ongoing election process and directed the candidate to file an election petition before the High Court instead. 

Meenakshi Natarajan's Rajya Sabha nomination was rejected after the BJP alleged she failed to disclose a Telangana court matter linked to a private complaint by a former Congress worker.
