International Yoga Day 2026: Delhi metro to run special 4 am services on June 21
DMRC will start Delhi Metro services from 4 am on June 21 for International Day of Yoga. The move is meant to help residents reach yoga venues across the city with ease.

To facilitate the movement of yoga enthusiasts on the occasion of International Day of Yoga 2026, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced special early morning services across its network on June 21.

METRO SERVICES TO BEGIN AT 4 AM
According to the announcement, Delhi Metro services will commence from 4:00 AM from all originating stations of each metro line on Sunday, June 21, 2026.
The special arrangement has been made specifically for International Day of Yoga, allowing commuters to travel early and attend yoga sessions scheduled across the city.
SPECIAL TIMINGS ON SELECT ROUTES
DMRC has also announced special first-train timings on certain routes.
First train from Kirti Nagar to Brigadier Hoshiar Singh will depart at 4:10 AM.
First train from Dwarka to Dhansa Bus Stand will depart at 4:15 AM.
These services are expected to benefit thousands of yoga participants travelling to various event locations.
TRAINS TO OPERATE EVERY 30 MINUTES
To ensure smooth travel during the early morning hours, metro services will be available at an interval of 30 minutes until 6:00 AM.
After 6:00 AM, train operations will continue according to the regular Sunday timetable across the Delhi Metro network.
