IRCTC has launched an Indore-Nepal Bharat Gaurav train for the Pashupatinath tour. The move spotlights a pilgrimage-focused rail journey linking Indore and Nepal.

Indian Railways has introduced a new Bharat Gaurav tourist train connecting Indore with Nepal under the Pashupatinath Nepal Darshan Yatra package. The 10-day journey, organised by IRCTC, will begin on June 12 and is designed as an all-inclusive tourism package rather than a regular train service.
The train will cover some of Nepal’s best-known spiritual and tourist destinations, including Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan.
The initiative is expected to attract both pilgrims and leisure travellers looking for a hassle-free international rail tour experience with accommodation, meals and sightseeing included in a single package.
DESTINATIONS COVERED IN THE TOUR
The Bharat Gaurav tourist train will take passengers to several popular destinations in Nepal. The itinerary includes Kathmandu, Pashupatinath Temple, Pokhara, Chitwan National Park and Manakamana Temple.
The package also includes a ropeway ride to Manakamana Temple and a jeep safari inside Chitwan National Park. IRCTC has designed the tour to combine pilgrimage travel with sightseeing and nature tourism.
BOARDING POINTS ACROSS MADHYA PRADESH
Passengers will be able to board the train from multiple railway stations across Madhya Pradesh. These include Indore, Ujjain, Shujalpur, Sehore, Bhopal, Itarsi, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Katni and Satna.
The Deluxe AC tourist train will have 14 coaches with First AC, Second AC and Third AC travel categories. Two restaurant coaches will also be available onboard for passengers during the journey.
FARES AND PACKAGE DETAILS
The Nepal tour package has been divided into three fare categories. The Third AC Comfort category is priced at Rs 62,710 per person, while the Second AC Deluxe package costs Rs 76,550. The First AC Superior category is priced at Rs 90,400 per passenger.
The package includes train travel, hotel stays in three-star properties, vegetarian meals, AC bus transfers for sightseeing, travel insurance, tour escorts, housekeeping and security services. Bookings can be made through the official IRCTC tourism website and regional offices.
