Akash Narayan, the 24-year-old founder of legal-tech startup Legalit, has bought his first apartment worth Rs 1.8 crore in Bengaluru. Instead of celebrating the milestone alone, he thanked his family, mentors, friends and team, saying the achievement belonged to everyone who supported his journey.
For many young entrepreneurs, buying a home is a milestone worth celebrating. But Bengaluru-based startup founder Akash Narayan chose to use the moment to thank the people who helped him get there.
The 24-year-old recently announced on Instagram that he had bought his first apartment, writing that the achievement belonged not just to him, but also to his family, mentors, colleagues and friends.
According to Hindustan Times, Narayan purchased the apartment in Casagrand Vivacity near Bengaluru's Electronic City, with possession expected in April 2027. The 24-year-old is the founder of legal-tech startup Legalit, which he said currently records around Rs 13 crore in annual gross revenue.
A MILESTONE SHARED WITH MANY
Instead of posting a celebratory house tour, Narayan shared an emotional video thanking the people who shaped his journey.
He expressed gratitude to his mother for believing in him even when his career path "wasn't the logical choice", thanked his father for life's lessons, acknowledged his sister for keeping him grounded, and remembered his late grandfather and grandmother for teaching him kindness.
Narayan also thanked his mentors for investing their time in his growth, appreciated his colleagues for standing by him through demanding projects, and credited his friends for pushing his limits while keeping him grounded.
Calling the apartment "just the beginning", he ended the video by thanking God and saying he was already looking ahead to his next goal.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Narayan studied at St. Joseph's College of Law between 2020 and 2025 and is currently pursuing Data Science at Manipal University Jaipur.
His professional journey began early. As a school student, he developed Android applications including VeBrowser and HowToTech, an app designed to help senior citizens understand modern technology, which received recognition from Infosys.
Over the years, he worked across technology, business development and political consulting. His experience includes internships at Nokia, consulting roles with Sphinx Tech, work as a Full-stack Developer, Head of Growth at NK Law Associates, Chief Technology Officer at Report Cyber Crimes (RCC), and political campaign assignments with I-PAC, the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), and later as a freelance political consultant.
In December 2023, he founded Legalit, a legal-tech company that develops technology solutions for lawyers and law firms. He also serves as a seed investor in startup Ayen.
