Low-hanging Apple | MacBook Neo
Accessible pricing meets unmistakably premium looks

For years, buying a MacBook often required either savings, courage or both. The Apple MacBook Neo changes that equation. It arrives as the most approachable MacBook in the lineup, aiming squarely at students, first-job professionals and anyone who wants macOS without financial drama.

Design that Behaves
Apple understands industrial design better than most. The aluminium chassis feels solid, polished and reassuringly expensive. At 1.23kg, the Neo is easy to carry and easier to admire. Rounded edges help comfort, while colour choices like citrus and indigo add some personality to a category that often dresses like a spreadsheet. The keyboard is pleasant and quiet, the trackpad remains class-leading and the lid opens with one hand.
Display with Manners
The 13-inch Liquid Retina display is excellent. Sharp text, punchy colours and 500 nits brightness make everyday work and weekend streaming equally enjoyable. Yes, bezels are thicker than some rivals and refresh rate stays at 60Hz, but the overall experience remains refined.
Performance without Panic
Powered by the A18 Pro chip, the Neo handles browsing, documents, video calls, presentations, light editing and multitasking with ease. It feels fast, silent and composed. The fanless design helps keep things whisper quiet.
The caveat is 8GB RAM. Fine for mainstream users today, slightly less comforting for power users. Those who do serious gaming or heavy production workloads should look elsewhere.
