Actor Hrithik Roshan's blink-and-miss appearance in the trailer of Alpha has drawn attention on social media, with several users saying his brief cameo has added to the curiosity around Alia Bhatt and Sharvari's upcoming spy thriller. The trailer has prompted mixed reactions online, but Hrithik's glimpse as Major Kabir Dhaliwal has received positive response from viewers. However, a section of users questioned the 'desperate times' that led to a cameo being unveiled in the trailer itself.

While reacting to Hrithik's glimpse in Alpha trailer, a fan wrote, "This 10 secs >>>> the whole trailer Major kabir= Aura farming (sic)." Another X post read, "This Cameo Is Enough To Theatre Turn Into Stadium (sic)." While praising the cameo appearance, the X user also wrote, "Kabir is Here. Goosebumps Literally.. #HrithikRoshan #AlphaTrailer (sic)."

However, a user also mentioned the need for revealing a cameo in the trailer. An X user wrote, "For the first time ever in Spy Universe history, YRF had to reveal a glimpse of a cameo in the trailer. Desperate times? Also, trailer gave a vibe YRF is more confident of the content (sic)."

While praising the action, an X user wrote, "Gotta admit, the Alpha trailer won me over. The tone feels different & that’s what’s got me slightly interested, though the action looks OK...Still, it’s fun to see a female-led action spectacle on this scale in India. Alia & Sharvari look like they’re going to be a good duo (sic)."

A fan, while appreciating Alia and Sharvari in the trailer, shared visuals of their dance, fight scenes and aerial stunts. The X post read, "they really chose to serve action with chemistry. i'm sat (sic)."

A user also differed and mentioned Sharvari being "sidelined in the trailer," while praising the background music and visuals.

Alpha is directed by debutant Shiv Rawail, son of veteran filmmaker Rahul Rawail. The film is produced by Yash Raj Films and also features Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor in key roles.

Alpha is set for a theatrical release on July 3.
